Frequently asked questions
What are Credits and how do I get them?
Credits are INKO.RUN's in-platform virtual currency, purchased on the in-app top-up page (processed securely by Stripe). Players use them to unlock paid chapters and items; creators use them to pay for AI generation. Credits can't be transferred or exchanged for cash (except creator revenue withdrawals).
Does Inko have a subscription?
Not at launch. Inko is pay-as-you-go with Credits: play for free, pay only when you want more. If we introduce a membership later, we'll spell out the benefits clearly — and it won't change the creator revenue split.
Why don't I see top-up packs on this page?
Top-up packs are shown in the in-app wallet and checkout flow. Packs, currencies and bonuses may vary by region and promotion — the in-app display is authoritative.
How do creators earn money, and when does it arrive?
When players pay to unlock chapters or items in your work, you keep 70% of every purchase and the platform takes a 30% service fee. Earnings are held for 30 days (for refunds and anti-fraud checks), then move to your withdrawable balance.
Do the Credits I spend on AI generation count toward my revenue share?
No. Credits spent on AI generation are platform service fees (covering model and compute costs) and are not revenue-shared. The split applies only to players buying your content.
What are the withdrawal requirements?
Your withdrawable balance must reach the minimum (1,000 Credits), and your account must be at least 7 days past registration or first top-up. Requests are reviewed by the platform. Withdrawals roll out progressively during beta; see in-app announcements.
Can I get a refund?
Completed Credits top-ups are generally non-refundable (except where required by law or due to a service fault). Spent Credits (content unlocks, AI generation) cannot be returned once delivered. If you hit a payment issue, reach us via the contact page.
Can minors pay?
No. Top-ups and purchases are available only to users aged 18 or over. Users aged 13–17 can create and play for free but cannot use paid features.
